Looks and PB: Pink, shoulder-length hair that she often wears partially done-up in pigtails. She has large, brown eyes. She’s still young and growing, so she’s only 5’1”. She‘s a little underweight for her height and age, but she’d still rather not tell you the exact number! Doesn’t wear anything spectacular, usually just what her mother buys or makes for her. Dull, typical, unisex things--she didn’t ever care to go against her mother’s wishes, but she secretly wants to wear pretty, girly things.

Personality: Above all else, she’s submissive and obedient. Oftentimes she’s shy and soft-spoken, and is secretly very depressed, but still puts on a happy and playful face when she needs to. She does care a lot about other people and wants to make them happy, even if it means taking risks. She’s better at expressing that more in actions than words, as she isn’t very knowledgeable about most things that people need advice for. She’s also in denial about her parents’ abuse and refuses to acknowledge that she didn’t deserve it.
Background: Beatrix was born into a family in Juno that never really made anything of themselves--they were more concerned with just living than becoming very successful. Beatrix gave her parents the hope that their family could become something more. So long as they could afford enough to get by and send her to a good school, then she could be the first one in the family to be a leader instead of a follower. So, even before she could speak, her parents started hammering their values and expectations into her head. They knew that wizards were powerful people, so as soon as Beatrix turned seven, they enrolled her into the Mage School at Geffen.
Beatrix never really wanted to be a mage, but then again, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to be instead. So, she went along with her family’s wishes. She feared going against them. Every wrong turn that she made, in their eyes, they would scream and yell and threaten. A few times, when she was doing poorly in school, they would even result to hitting her. Beatrix lived a rather miserable childhood, so she grew up just as miserable. She remained obedient and pushed aside her bad feelings, though, not just to avoid the abuse, but because she did still love her parents and understood their wishes. She did her best just for them. She is still not very skilled even in her seventh year because there is no heart behind what she does, but she has done enough to keep her grades at a level that pleased her parents.
At the end of Beatrix’ first semester in her seventh year, she went home to Juno to be with her family for the winter holiday. Just like everyone else there, she was caught in the fall of the city. She and her parents were all at home at the time. When the house began to buckle under the stress put upon it, Beatrix made a futile attempt to keep it from falling with her ice magic. Her parents pushed her out of the house just in time before it came crashing down upon them and killed them both. Beatrix ran and got away by the warp portal of a clergyman and ended up in Prontera along with thousands of other refugees. She will never be able to forgive herself for not succeeding in saving her parents.
